Baby Jude and Thanksgiving

Well, the bad news is Chrysta and Jonny couldn't come to celebrate Thanksgiving with us this year. But the good news is...they had a baby boy! Oh, he is the handsomest. He was born with a minor lung complication and had to hang out in the NCU for a few days, but he's all better now and absolutely perfect. I bet you can guess what we were all thankful for this year...Jude Gordon Barnes.

 

Weekend in Vegas

This trip was for...what else? Podiatry training. But I'll take any excuse, as you know, to get away with my Scotty! Before we left, we were annoyed to find out that the hospital had booked our flights and rental car to be shared with another doctor and his wife who we didn't know very well. After getting stuck in the airport with them for 12 hours for delayed flights, though - we got to know them pretty well! And they are stinkin' awesome. I seriously hope we get forced onto a work trip with the Espinozas again sometime.

 

Middle School Play and Disney Dinner

What can I say? I live in a house full of stars! Seriously. How did I end up with so many beautiful and talented children? This time around, Liam Jenny and Reed played aliens, Colby played Quasimoto, and Hanna was Ian Lightfoot from Onward. All of their performances were, of course, impeccable. And I am not in the least bit biased.
