Here are my super heroes. They had their costumes picked out a long time ago and each played his part perfectly. I love watching my little boys be boys! Our Halloween was half happy, and half unhealthy. On Friday, we went to Trunk or Treat at the church as a family and had a great time, but by Saturday a cold had struck our house with a vengeance. Luckily, I was amongst the survivors so I got to dress up and take the older kids to the Wellman Halloween Party. Poor Scott not only had to feel sick, but he had to stay home on Halloween night and take care of the babies.
As a family, the Wellmans have very few long-standing traditions - only one to speak of, in fact. It's our annual Halloween party. Each family brings food, games, prizes and tons of candy. I conduct potato sack and three-legged races every year. Here are the highlights and the winners from this years games:
And here's the whole bunch!
Hanna's face is so sweet. I wish we got to see her in her costume. I'm glad you guys are continuing the tradition. The party looks like it was a blast! I'm so jealous!
