Thanksgiving 2015
Sadly, I don't have any pictures of our actual Thanksgiving dinner this year. It's a shame too, because we were treated so wonderfully by the Rodriguez family...good food, great time. I did, however, capture Reedy at his Preschool Thanksgiving Presentation. He and his class sang the cutest little songs for all us parents, and even though I was sitting way up in the rafters, Reed would shout up to me at the end of each song, "Did you like that one, mom?!" I just LOVE him!
We were blessed/cursed with a beautiful ice storm for Thanksgiving weekend. Everywhere you looked, every leaf, every branch, every blade of grass was coated in crystal ice. It was absolutely breathtaking...and the roads were absolutely deadly! We were stuck home for all four of those cold vacation days. So, we didn't do any Black Friday shopping, and we didn't go to any holiday movies, but we had plenty of time to put the Christmas tree up. And Hanna, at least, was too creative to be bored :)
I have to say that, while we're on the subject, I am so thankful to my generous Heavenly Father for each one of my beautiful kids, my sweetheart husband, my parents, siblings and in-laws, and all our family and friends. I'm thankful for our good health, our freedoms and safety, and all the comforts and luxuries we enjoy every day. I'm also so thankful to be here in Pratt and so proud and pleased to be part of the Pratt Branch. And I could never be thankful enough for the Church and the Gospel and my Savior Jesus Christ. These are my heart's treasures!
