Hanna turned 15 on a very busy Wednesday between two very busy weekends, but we eeked out some memory making for our special girl. We had to do Lenten Luncheon that day, so I pulled her out of school to come and help (she sang "Gethsemene" with the Branch) and Daddy spoke (he was awesome, as always). When it was over, instead of taking her back to school, I took her home and we watched Goldbergs for the rest of the afternoon. That night we were in charge of the Young Women's activity, so we invited all the girls over for junk food, karaoke and "Just Dance" - it sure felt like a birthday party! The only other birthday moments we were able to squeeze in that week was a steak dinner at Woody's, and presents, of course! We got her new Hey Dude shoes and her own Alexa for her room.
That Hanna is a living dream - a sparkly ray of sunshine since the day she was born. She's the most lovely human being, my favorite friend. I just don't know how I got so lucky to be her mom.
