We were wonderfully blessed with gifts and surprises this Christmas - the biggest being Devin and Emily's baby (Karson Dean). So, Scott and I got to see what it's like to be in the hospital on Christmas Day. It was of course quiet and empty, and with a precious brand new baby in the room, it felt almost holy. He is a miraculous answer to years of prayer. That night we made a brisket and had the missionaries, Ashley, and Nelson over for dinner. We saved our saran wrap ball to open with them. It was a happy day.
