Mae's 5th Birthday

Mae is five. That's right, our baby is not a baby anymore. I'd be sad that she grew up so fast if she wasn't the most lovable, adorable five year old who brings us the most joy ever! She wanted a real bike with pedals for her birthday, but we gave her a balance bike with a promise that she could upgrade to pedals once she learned to balance. Unfortunately, she had completely mastered the balance bike by the end of that day (riding and balancing perfectly all over the place) and has been asking us to make good on our promise incessantly. What can I say, she's just A-Mae-zing!!

 

New Family Hobby

Rock Climbing!! We tried it; we ALL loved it. We can't wait to go back again! And that is the end of that story.

 

Jenny and Destini's Birthdays

These amazing girls bring so much joy and laughter to our lives. We wish we could have them with us every day but we have to share them with all the other people who love them as much as we do (we also share Destini with McDonald's which is where she's working right now). All we can do is make the most of the time we do get! Jenny is a social butterfly, so she had a party with all her people. Destini kept it low-key by going to the lake with her boyfriend. They are both so full of light and love, and they just make life better.

Super Sonic Summer

These big ol' boys both got summer jobs at Sonic and they are killing it! They're like, super responsible and capable and everything. Plus, they're so adorable, Scott and I can't help going there and taking their pictures and blowing them kisses and giving them giant tips. It's so fun.
