Nolan's 21st Birthday
Nolan said he didn't really have time to see us and it would be a waste of a trip, but we just couldn't stay away on his 21st birthday. We killed time hiking the hills around Manhattan while he was in class. Then we took him to dinner at Pizza Ranch and strolled around the mall until he had to go back again.

Back to School & Baby Shower
We will only have five of our kids enrolled in public school this year. Seems like so few! Here comes the downward slide to an empty nest! Good thing Devin and Emily are keeping the extended family growing. Here's a quirky baby quilt that Destini, mom, and I made for them.
