This summer Hanna is playing softball and Reed is playing baseball. Nolan is umpiring and lifeguarding. Liam and Reed were in theater camp and performed as mad tea party people in Alice and Wonderland. Scotty and the boys went to Scout Camp. Nolan took some art classes with me and Colby got his driver's permit. Hanna's been helping the Young Women paint Sister Clark's house, and Mae got invited to a birthday party for her friend Addison from preschool.
A couple sundays ago we had to cancel church because of a bed bug outbreak in the Branch. After home church Scott took Nolan and Colby to Macksville to give Brother Phillips a blessing (he just got out of the hospital). While they were gone, the little kids and I put on our aprons and made dinner for the Kutzs (Sister Kutz was dying of liver failure). We also made cookies for brother and sister Haberman who are going through a divorce. Nolan and Colby did the cookie deliveries. It was a wonderful feeling to be part of a family team. We can do so much good when we work together - and the church gives us so many opportunities to do good.
