Happy Ending to One Amazing Year

Well....2022 changed our lives forever. Destini and Jenny are now legally ours, and they make our family even more awesome! The Hardins moved to Wichita and now our cousin connections and family gatherings are way sweeter. Nolan and Colby made us so proud in their mission labors and mission preparations. Hanna was a super hero at scripture study and seminary. Liam and Jenny put in great effort to get excellent grades. Reed and Mae are satisfied my need for little ones with tiny hands and sweet cuddles. What amazing sons and daughters we have! Grandma gave us extra love and help. And Scotty and I spent another year being madly in love while doing our best to make a difference. The whole world getting worse hasn't stopped life from getting better and better. I swear that's what the Gospel gives ya - blessings, blessings, blessings. And joy.

 

Christmas

This year we visited the Boones in Great Bend on Christmas Eve-Eve. We had the missionaries over for dinner on Christmas Eve. Destini and Mythius spent the night with us that night and came to church with us Christmas morning. The Christmas program was so beautiful. Our family sang a short song. We went to the Barneses with Gma and the Hardins for Christmas dinner. Mythius' mom joined us, which was such a pleasant surprise. My favorite gift was having Christmas on the Sabbath (such a special spirit), and being surrounded by dear ones.

 

Chandler's Wedding in Phoenix

This whole thing filled me up with joy...Chandler met a beautiful sunshine girl, got reacquainted with his spiritual side, and got married! Jeff and Mel were the sweetest most selfless parents and all sides of all families got along great. The gorgeous December desert did not disapoint. Sarah reported home from her mission and sent my heart soaring with her words. I got to meet Kaylie's chunky, cheerful baby. Hanna was my sidekick the whole time and she makes the best bestie.
