22nd Wedding Anniversary Trip - With Colby

It's been a very busy spring and our time with Colby at home is quickly running out. This trip accomplished two things - an anniversary getaway for Scotty and me, and some quality one-on-one time with Colby. We did the KC Timber mud-run together, ate out at Bibibop, shopped for mission suits, and went to immersive Van-Gogh. Scotty and I snuck out alone just once for the most amazing BBQ we've ever had.

 

Colby's Senior Prom

He's just so cute, I can't stand it. Nobody who is truly beautiful inside and out, gets much attention or credit while they're in highschool - and Colby is the perfect example of that. His date Grace is too for that matter. Grace is Colby's buddy from the percussion section in band. She is also the daughter of his beloved golf coach who passed away last year. They are both so thoroughly good and gifted, as well as unassuming. It was so fun to watch them go to Prom together. They were the king and queen in my book!
