Hanna's 13th Birthday

Hanna's 13th birthday wishes were to have her room redecorated and to have all her friends over. We did start making interior design plans, but, when the big day finally hit, we were in the beginning stages of a global pandemic. We were not yet under a stay-at-home order, but we had been advised not to meet in large groups, so...no parties. Her room ended up just how she envisioned it...a masterpiece! And instead of a party we took her to Wichita for some Texas Roadhouse takeout. Chrysta and Jonny were kind enough to let us eat it at their house, and as if that wasn't enough, Chrysta made the most spectacular cake  - Butter Beer flavored. It was like, seriously phenomenal. And she sent most of it home with Hanna (winning the favorite Aunt award forever). Well, our girl is a teenager! Bring on the adventure!

Spring Break 2020

Spring Break this year actually turned out to be the beginning of the Corona Virus quarantine. We had already planned not to go anywhere because we had family coming to visit from Arizona, Utah and Pennsylvania, and because Nolan was getting his wisdom teeth pulled out. Nolan was able to get his mouth surgery (and all went well), but all our visitors had to cancel because travel restrictions and stay-at-home-orders were starting to pop up. The Barnes still came for a few days though and they gave us the BEST spring break surprise ever...they announced that they are going to have another baby!!! Destini and Jenny stayed over most of the week too, and they make every day more fun - especially for Hanna!

2020 Service Day - Go Pratt Branch!

As a Branch, this is how we commemorated the 200th Anniversary of Joseph Smith's First Vision. We started out just wanting to donate 200 man-hours of service to the community. By the time we were done, we had also bagged almost exactly 200 bags of garbage and leaves. It was an absolute pleasure! Working together always makes us closer and brings us joy.
