Fall Campout with the Scouts

This is supposed to be for the boys, of course, but I think our girls enjoy it more than anyone - especially Mae! She is already counting down the days until she can play in the woods with Ferris and Abel again, haha 😄. 

 

Homecoming and Conference Weekend

We got creative with homecoming this year because Hanna was unsure about going and I was happy to encourage her not to, so we made plans instead for a girls night out. It ended up being the best night ever - truly. Scotty treated us to sushi and a movie. It was the night we discovered Dear Evan Hansen, and it brought all our emotions to the surface. Brokenness seems to be the underlying theme of our lives this year, especially with Jenny and Lexi in the family. Hanna, Jenny, Lexi and I laughed and cried our eyes out. We tried to talk Colby into coming, but he was too tempted by the Hopkins homecoming dinner - I think he had a good time. General Conference was glorious and uplifting as usual.

 

September Things

Football and band season begins. Walker Green leaves on his mission. Zoo and rock climbing with the Kunzes.
