This was an exciting theater season for all of us because of Colby. This is his Senior year and he got a big part. He played John Brooke in Little Women which meant he had to prepare himself to kiss Meg (Jadyn Thompson) on stage. Maybe that's why he sang and acted so flawlessly - because that was easy in comparison to having your first kiss on stage in front of the whole school! Hanna and Jenny also performed beautifully in the chorus and Liam helped in the stage crew. My kids keep blowing my mind with all their courage and talent. They were supported by lots of people who love them, including the Hardins and the Barnes who attended and grandma who babysat. The Barnses stayed all weekend and had a Period Tea Party with us - Hanna and I made homemade butterscotch pudding and Raspberry Cordial.
